ARRIS: A manual process that removes only sharp edges.
MACHINE POLISH: The cut edges of the glass are ground leaving a smooth edge with a matt finish.
SHINE OR BRILLIANT POLISH: The smooth ground edges of the machine polish are further processed to provide a clear, bright, almost reflective edge.
BEVEL: Glass and mirror can be bevelled at an angle which reflects light for decorative purposes.
