1995National Glass Distribution founded. First order delivered on a garden trailer.

1998Distribution branches established in most major South African cities.

2000Manufacturing and establishment of a resin laminated safety glass plant and installation of European polishing and bevelling machines.

2002Eagle Aluminium patio door was manufactured.

2004The first PVB laminated safety glass plant was established.

2007Double glazed (SIG Units) plant commissioned, which introduced “warm edge” technology to the South African market for the first time.

2008Agencies for glass and aluminium processing machinery were granted.

2012Tamglass tempering furnaces were installed in Cape Town and Johannesburg producing SABS certified safety glass.

2015SABS approved automotive safety glass production started mainly for bus industry.

2016National Glass Distribution has the most SAGI graduates in SA and has AAAMSA approved SAFIERA thermal simulators.

2017Sales Director, Nic Kruger is awarded Competent Person (Glazing) status by the South African Glass Institute. He joins an elite group, being only the 2nd person to achieve this in 12 years.

2020Eagle Aluminium expands their product range to include Horizon Door and Window and Security Barrier.
